SFP Module
The Helmholz plug-in transceivers according to the SFP standard enable the connection of fiber optic cables to the FLEXtra switches with FO ports. The SFP modules support an Ethernet transmission rate of 1 Gbit/s. The SFP transceiver modules should always be installed in pairs with a technically suitable fiber optic cable.
The SFP modules are available in versions for single and multimode fiber optic cables. The SFP modules are designed for fiber optic cables with LC connectors.

WALL IE – Industrial NAT Gateway/Firewall
With “WALLIE”, a machine network is integrated into the higher-level factory network.
This achieves a clear network segmentation and reduces the size of broadcast domains. Machine access is individually restricted via firewall rules and filters.
Secure communication and simple addressing – WALL IE protects your automation network against unauthorized access. Due to the individual configuration, the firewall can be easily adapted to the requirements of the respective machine network.

Diagnosis – TAP IE 100
The TAP IE 100 enables recording of Ethernet communications at 10 or 100 Mbps without retroactive effect.
With Test Access Points (TAP), a recording of Ethernet communication is made possible – completely without repercussions. With a PC or other diagnostic device, the Ethernet telegrams can be logged and analysed, e.g. with “Wireshark”.
